Click here to download Resume Shelia Rogers is a fine art photographer and mixed media artist. Her life's work communicates the complexities and the attractions she finds in her environment. Surrounded by waterfronts and beaches, Rogers' work exposes her revelations… from the eclectic culture of the Texas Gulf Coast to everyday beachcombing. Rogers' work spotlights her personal discoveries. Whether taking photo shoots of her favorite locales to collecting everyday thrown-away objects made of plastic, Rogers shows pleasure in divulging her vision. Her compilation of her work is serious, yet the work is understated and striking. Rogers received her Bachelors of Arts degree at the University of Texas-Austin and conducted post-graduate work at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Rogers has attended several workshops with art masters around the world. She has studied abroad in France, Hungary, India, Morocco, Russia, Spain and in the U.S. including California, New Mexico, New York, Texas and Washington. Rogers lives and works in Corpus Christi, Texas.
